WHAT IS XSTATION?
The PS1 XStation is an ODE which replaces the original PS1 disc reader with a SD card reader to allow you to play PS1 games directly from a SD card..

This mod lets you reset the console by using a button combination on the controller.
Pressing L2 + R2 + Select + Start gives a short reset pulse.
Pressing L2 + R2 + Select + Cross gives a long reset pulse.
What to Expect:
If purchased, you would send me your Playstation 1 5501 Console and XStation kit (unless you select to have the XStation Kit provided with the service).
The shell will be cleaned including a H2O2 and UV light treatment to remove yellowing.
I will install and test the XStation and In-Game-Reset Mod (if selected).
I will send back any unused parts including the disk drive and the 10XX series XStation board.
The reset mod will be the option shown in the pictures as long as the small microchips required for this board remain available, if these chips become unavailable slightly larger microchips will be used. These chips function exactly the same but are connected with wires and tucked discreetly inside the PS1, there is no difference to the system in appearance or performance.

XStation stickers
If the serial port cover is missing a high quality 3D printed one will be included.
Everything Else You Should Know:
A warranty sticker with a unique serial number will be placed on the bottom of the system over one of the screw holes. As long as this sticker is still intact I will warranty the system for life, If anything ever malfunctions or stops working because of the MOD I will fix the problem at no additional cost. , I will not accept returns if the warranty sticker is damaged or manipulated. System has been tested for 12+ hours after XStation install.
